The Ouray canyon Club is in the process of being organized.  Anyone interested in helping to organize the club, serve on the interim Board of Directors, or interested in participation in club activities, please use the "Contact" tab to send us an email.

 The Ouray Canyon Club was launched in the spring 2012 for the purpose of promoting and teaching safe and ethical canyoneering.We are especially dedicated to introducing Ouray City residents, Ouray County residents, and western slope residents to the wonderful world of canyoneering and the amazing canyons in our own backyard.

Each August the club hosts the annual Ouray Canyon Festival attracting canyoneers from across the country and around the world.  This year the third annual festival will be held Augustr 16 through August 19 at Fellin Park next to the Hot Springs Pool, Main Street, Ouray, Co.

If you are new to canyoneering, the OCC offers beginner workshops with an emphasison safety and self-rescue.  Also offered by the Ouray Canyon Club are workshops in knots, anchors, ropework, pothole-escape, rescue, and ethical canyoneering.

If you already have canyoneeringexperience, join other members on some of our monthly outings - a great way tomeet new friends and discover new cannyons.
